Kualoa Ranch |

Description:
Welcome to Kualoa Ranch Hawaii. Kualoa means "long back" in Hawaiian, a probable reference to the shape of the tall mountains behind the visitor center. Ancient Hawaiians (and many of their descendants today) considered Kualoa one of the most sacred places on Oahu. It was a Pu'uhonua (place of refuge) and a training ground for the royal children, who were instructed in arts of war, history and social traditions.
If the Ranch's 4,000 acres look familiar, that's because Kualoa Ranch has been the site of many TV shows and Holly wood films including Jurassic park, Windtalkers, Pearl Harbor, Godzilla,
50 first Dates, and most recently You Me And Dupree.
Whether you choose to ride a horse, drive on an ATV, take a ranch tour of just relax in our visitor center, we hope you enjoy your visit with us! "Kualoa Land And Legacy". |
